Morning all. I have the theme for P.Pat in my head now!! Better than Tellytubbies though!
It's -2C out there now. THankfully I have another day off - waiting for new bedroom furniture to be delivered. Nice excuse to not leave the house!

Morning. It was -8.5 this morning when I left for work. It's -4 now with the sun shining. Still slippery though.
Kids started on monday here.

Beautiful sunshine today but freezing. Decided not to go into work today, am in bed full of cold and that is where I am staying all day. I hate being sick!

A pleasant day all round. Had fun kakking on the two students who did not turn up for their courses yesterday. Phoned one student who laughed when I asked her why she did not show - so I told her that I would remove her name from the waiting list and she would not be asked to to the next course - that stopped her laughing... tee hee.... in fact - stunned her into silence.

Afternoon all - still rather chilly outside - just taken the dogs for their after dinner walk.
Re- Postman Pat - whilst Torran was here I had to watch Postman Pat, Thomas the Tank Engine and In the Night Garden with him everyday - on the days they were not on I had to put their DVD's on for him to watch.laughw

I saw battery operated socks and gloves ( to keep warm ) and socks with silver lining ( retains heat ). Serious thought of investing in that today. Was all wrapped today when arriving to work . When faced with curious looks , my response was ' well I can't help I'm a wimp from the southren hemispere , you can't expect me to face the elements out there without adequate protection.' tonguew

twitcywTin foil seems like a sensiable alternative . Just remember the shining side reflects heat . So make sure it's the right way round otherwise you have just created a built freezer winkw

now thats a fine idea. I have ill-fitting sash windows from nineteen footsack, so I don't have a draught blowing in the windows, I have a gale.... with force.

wubw Good evening all, my but itis parky out there tonight.
My sister dropped me off tonight and she had to get hubby to walk me from the car, it was so icey underfoot and I am a big wussie when it comes to slippingyesw
