this would have been picked up early , surely she has had loads of random drugs test that would have shown the high levels of testosterone
its not like this was her 1st race !!!!!!

The way I interpret all the media coverage is she did have have the blood tests . Which showed that she had a higher then average testosterone level but still with in limits for a female .
I think this whole case rest on her genetic advantage because a gender issue is in question .
Which raises a whole new conflict for the sporting world . Do they start banning people for their genetic advantage ? There are alot of sports people out there that have a genetic advatage to their body size and shape for their choosen sport .
I was thinking earlier that maybe the world sporting bodies are going to have to compromise and create 'transgender' events. Surely people can't be judged on what mother nature intended for them to be?
Well they can ban her , and they cant withdraw her medal
Quite what they do with her is beyond me .
The SA government seem to be taking it very personally though , alsorts of talk of racism and sexism !!!!
Not surprised by SA response , Anything they don't agree with will fall thin those catagories . But I still think this is an unprecedent case very unique that has been handled insesitively ! Amararula while I understand which deriction you thinking . Even if they did create a separate transexial event it would still alienate her . This is a person that capatilised on her abilities that found herselve in a international controversary . Her genetic disorder is quite rare , Those with that same disorder don't find them themselves ordinarily on the sports arena amongst an international confusion .
I still maintain if the sporting arena wants to press thiss forward they have to apply the same principals for all those other athletes that are genetically advantaged . Weither it be by stamina . physic or mental advantage .
